Judith White
"Art is not just what I do - it is how I see the world and connect with everything around me."
— Judith White
Judith White is a Sydney-based artist whose creative career has spanned over five decades. As well as pursuing her own artistic practice, she founded and ran a private art school for ten years, nurturing emerging artists and fostering creative growth. Her work is deeply influenced by her sensitivity to natural and urban environments, blending contemporary themes with timeless techniques. Working across multiple media, including watercolour and oil, she skilfully balances precise detail with expressive abstraction.
Her evocative paintings explore the subtle relationships between people, places, and memories through their interplay of light, texture, and form. Through the use of both abstract and figurative elements, Judith creates works that invite viewers to experience a reflective and emotional connection, revealing the quiet beauty in everyday moments. Her art continues to resonate widely, bridging tradition and innovation while inspiring audiences and fellow artists alike.
