Major Projects

In addition to its artist representation and exhibition programme, Linton & Kay has expanded its focus on art consulting and procurement, particularly for commercial projects such as CBD office buildings, medical facilities, and hotels.

This growth has led to the establishment of a dedicated major projects division delivering tailored, strategic art solutions for large-scale developments.

Our Team

Linton Partington

Director

Linton Partington is the founding director of Linton & Kay Galleries as well as the Managing Director of multidisciplinary arts company Voxlab Productions Pty Ltd. Prior to establishing Linton & Kay, Linton worked as a Chartered Accountant and has substantial experience in project and financial management. With a passion for the arts and a background in business, Linton has played a significant role in taking Linton & Kay Galleries from a fledgling art gallery to one of Western Australia’s leading and longest-standing commercial art galleries. In recent years he has expanded its offering to include major corporate fit outs, which has led Linton to pursue and specialize in larger hospitality projects such as The Intercontinental Hotel, Perth and the Ritz Carlton, Elizabeth Quay.

Miranda Brown

Manager

Miranda Brown is the General Manager at Linton & Kay Galleries. Responsible for coordinating the gallery’s daily activities, Miranda also embraces the creative opportunities that fill her days as part of the Linton & Kay team. With almost 30 years of experience in the art world, she has worked across many sectors including management, art consulting, art curation for Aboriginal artists from the Pilbara, and events management. Her recent projects include managing the art collection for Rio Tinto and contributing to the curation of major art collections for both The Intercontinental and The Ritz Carlton Hotels.

Hayley Cooper

Art Consultant

Having grown up around Linton & Kay, Hayley has been immersed in the arts her entire life, and this lifelong connection continues to fuel her passion for working in the industry. With a Master’s degree in Architecture, she brings a diverse background that includes experience in interior design on large-scale national and international hotel projects, as well as public art, where she collaborated closely with artists. She is especially drawn to large abstract works and those that reflect a deep connection to nature. One of the most rewarding parts of her role is engaging with artists to explore the ideas and processes behind their work.

Our Approach

Our approach is a collaborative one, working as part of the overall project team to deliver outcomes that align with the design intent and corporate culture of the client. We place great importance on building strong relationships with our clients to deepen our understanding of their projects and achieve the best possible outcomes. Through operating Linton & Kay Galleries, we have established connections with hundreds of artists, galleries, and other creatives, which enables us to develop and produce a unique package for each project we undertake.

Major Advantage

The unique business of Linton & Kay that distinguishes us from other arts organizations is that our team comes from commercial rather than purely arts backgrounds, giving us a thorough understanding of project management requirements, including the need to comply with budgets and deadlines. This expertise, combined with extensive experience in the interpersonal skills required to manage a diverse range of individuals such as artists, designers, and corporate leaders, puts Linton & Kay in a distinctive position.
