Variations on a Feathered Theme

Ornithologists and artists are possibly captivated by birds in equal parts. Our back yards and bush teem with them; the melodious songs of some contrasting with the raucous cacophony of others, creating an ever-engaging soundscape. We search for the tiny understory dwellers while glimpsing the flash of a red-tailed black cockatoo or a magpie family searching for grubs.

Linton & Kay Galleries presents Variations on a Feathered Theme, an exhibition as diverse as the feathered friends themselves. Artists selected are Kate Elsey, Celia Perceval, Cedric Baxter, Robert Juniper, Karlee Rawkins, Lesley Whitham, Kiara Rechichi-Baker, Jody Graham, Brendon Darby, Robert Moore, Mikaela Castledine and Johnny Romeo.
