The Tom Malone Glass Art Prize is Australia’s longest running award for Contemporary Australian Glass Art with the winning artist receiving $20,000.
21 remarkable artists have been shortlisted for this year’s prize. Their innovative, dynamic artworks ensure the continuing venerable status of the Tom Malone Glass Art Prize.
Now in its 23nd year, the prize was initiated in 2003 by Governor of the Art Gallery of Western Australia Foundation, Elizabeth Malone. Since 2018, the prize has enjoyed the generous support of Foundation Benefactor, Sheryl Grimwood.
The Finalists are Ruth Allen, Annette Blair, Peter Bowles, Lisa Cahill, Scott Chaseling, Anne Clifton, Erin Conron, Billy Crellin, Amanda Dziedzic, Benjamin Edols and Kathy Elliott, Cheryl Edwards, Clare Belfrage, Giles Bettison, Hannah Gregory, Marcel Hoogstad Hay, Kristin McFarlane, Dr Mel Douglas, Nada Murphy, Nick Mount, Brenda Page, Drew Spangenberg, Jarred Wright
Judging will take place during the first week in March, with the 2025 Tom Malone Prize-winning Artist announced on 12 March during the Official Opening at Linton and Kay Galleries in Cottesloe.
