“There becomes a threshold between painting and sculpture that interests me; the union of polarising surfaces often attracts an accentuated quality of both. It is this same duality between life, living and extreme digitalism that perplexes me. Wasn’t technology and AI conceived to make our lives easier and streamlined? Evidently not. Perhaps it’s the very tool sharpened to keep us from enjoying, thinking, making… Or perhaps this may just be my lived experience in a society that is quickly accelerating past my very eyes. A duality or binary often debated in my mind every day – much like how the square deals with the circle, and the circle deals with the square.”
