The Tom Malone Glass Art Prize is Australia’s longest running award for Contemporary Australian Glass Art with the winning artist receiving $20,000.

Now in its 22nd year, the prize was initiated in 2003 by Governor of the Art Gallery of Western Australia Foundation, Elizabeth Malone. Since 2018, the prize has enjoyed the generous support of Foundation Benefactor, Sheryl Grimwood.

The Finalists are Gabriella Bisetto, Scott Chaseling, Erin Conron, Eliana Della Flora, Mel Douglas, Sabrina Dowling Giudici, Kevin Gordon, Rita Kellaway, Laurel Kohut, Jessica Loughlin, Nick Mount, Jessica Murtagh, Brenda Page, Denise Pepper, Jeffrey Sarmiento, Jason Sims and Drew Spangenberg.

Judging will take place during the first week in March, with the 2024 Tom Malone Prize-winning Artist announced on 6th March during the Official Opening at Linton and Kay Galleries in Cottesloe.

‘Black and white as no colour truly represents the gamut of colours involved in this art form. It lets the artworks themselves speak with their own colours.’ (The Committee of the Tom Malone Board)
