STEPHEN GLASSBOROW – DE-CONSTRUCT RE-CONSTRUCT

4 - 20 SEPTEMBER, SUBIACO - OFFICIAL OPENING THURSDAY 10 SEPTEMBER 6-8pm UK born, Glassborow emigrated to Australia in the 1980’s and rapidly gained a following with his exhibitions and public sculptures. Commissions include Lionel Rose for Warragul City Council, Johnny Famachon for Frankston City Council, numerous companies and collections throughout Australia and Asia including Hilton Hotels; Qantas; KPMG; Crown Casino; Park Grand; Imperial Hotel, Kuala Lumpur; and many others. Currently his focus is to pixilate or dissipate the figure through the processes of making, destroying and then rebuilding. Colour then adds focus, clarity and enhanced energy.
