“The coastal areas of Western Australia have always been my focus
for works exhibited in Perth, the city I have called home for the past
thirty-three years and where I became addicted to swimming in the
ocean every day of the year. There is more to seawater than salt and
water, there is an energy present that is transformative: all I can try to
do is paint its beautiful surface. The works in this show embody the
