SAM BLOOR – THE BEST OF MY BAD DAYS
Local artist Sam Bloor brings his rotating mural project to a finale with the exhibition “The Best of My Bad Days” at Linton and Kay, Subiaco. Limited edition screen prints of each mural will be shown alongside new works delving into the process behind the project and reflecting on the year that has been, with each short poem presenting a meditation on how we can find hope in the hard times.
Sam Bloor is a photographer and visual artist from Perth, Western Australia. Collaborating with multiple state and independent institutions his practice often sees large scale public artworks that act as an invitation to explore contemporary art spaces.
Bloor has exhibited in a number of group and solo shows both nationally and internationally including, Totem In Tribute (2016) in Edinburgh, UK, the Fremantle Print Award (2016/18) and Rotterdam Photo festival (2019), NL and the Fremantle Biennale (2019). Bloor has won multiple awards and is represented in both private and public collections including the City of Fremantle.
