The Arrival heralds the return to Perth of one of Australia’s exceptional young contemporary talents. Lauded for his exceptional painterly skills since his very first solo exhibition in 2002, he has been nominated for several awards and high profile exhibitions. Ronald Neal holds a Master of Fine Arts from Monash University.
The Arrival exemplifies the artist’s ability to play light and dark visual elements against each other, heightening dramatic effect and lending a mystery to his compositions. An impossibly delicate sense of hyper-reality is given to these works in the way that only Neal can.
