29 FEBRUARY - 29 MARCH. Exhibition re-located from Mandoon Gallery to West Perth due to the COVID-19 crisis and the temporary closure of the Mandoon Gallery. The exhibition can be viewed during normal business hours or by appointment.
Peter Coad's use of dramatic colours for his vigorous interpretations capture the glowing earthy yellows and oranges of the land, the ephemeral purples, aqua and blues of the sky and lagoons, reflecting the unique terrain and changing characteristics of days and seasons. His work depicts harsh landscapes of breath-taking beauty that focus on symbolic mountains, wetlands, vegetation and bird life in an endeavour to convey an awareness of the delicate balance of the environment.
