Perth beaches have iconic features that reveal themselves with changing tides and storms. Over the past months, renowned seascape artist, Leigh Hewson-Bower has captured exposed reefs and perfect waves in a series of new paintings featuring beaches from North Cottesloe to Leighton. Hewson-Bower embraces painting on a large scale and these new works invite the viewer to enter the picture plane and revel in the much-loved character of our coast.
