NOW SHOWING  8 - 25 MAY SUBIACO - In Judith White’s latest exhibition, Centrum (a town or city centre), the works ultimately draw the eye into a maze of ambiguity between movement and activity, stillness and calm, an imaginative and pleasing world of contemplation. White continues the visual information beyond the edge of the canvas to give the viewer a sense of a selected section, part of a much larger world. The eye is engaged in a map of shapes where there is no hierarchy between positive and negative. Forms are enhanced by intense colour or enclose clusters of texture. Born in Sydney and trained at the National Art School, Judith White has been a practicing professional for 35 years with 44 solo exhibitions.
