Jasper Knight’s new exhibition, The Duck Pond and the Swan, is inspired by two unique waterways: the Duck Pond (Francis Bay) in Darwin, known for its docks filled with northern fishing and pearling vessels, while the Swan River is the bloodline of Western Australia.
Multiple times a finalist in Australia’s major art prizes - Archibald, Wynne, Sulman, Moran, Blake and Mosman (winner) – Knight won the Brett Whiteley Travelling Scholarship in 2005 along with other major scholarships. He is represented in major Australian collection, and with a string of sell-out shows under his belt and not yet 40 years of age, Knight is a young talent to watch.
Linton & Kay Galleries presents Jasper Knight as the inaugural exhibition at Fridays Studio in West Perth.
