For two weekends only, the doors will be open to this heritage listed Peppermint Grove bungalow which has undergone a stunning transformation by the architecture and design team of renown builder Humphrey Homes. With a bespoke art curation of 40 original works, this is your opportunity to delve inside the home of an art lover and experience an art curation that flows across medium, palette and scale to unify a visual language in an incredible architecture.

The original home, built in 1925, has been respectfully restored preserving many original details. The substantial extension quadruples the home's footprint and takes inspiration from rural French villas, with the home arranged around a series of landscaped courtyards to give every room a garden aspect.

The formal lines of the architecture juxtapose with soft detailing and exposed raw elements, giving the home a relaxed elegance. With 5m high timber-lined ceilings, custom steel-framed doors and extensive use of oak flooring and timber joinery, it is a celebration of craftsmanship. The home is the perfect backdrop for an exhibition of works from leading Australian artists, curated by Linton & Kay Galleries and Andrew Thornton Hick.

As this is a private home open with kind permission of the owners, viewings are for adults only (no children allowed) and no food, drinks, shoes or photography are permitted inside.
