'What is so remarkable about Frank's approach, apart from his ability, inspiration, artistry and brilliance as a draftsman, is the prodigious amount of work he has produced and the incredible depth of personal involvement he has demonstrated. This has required an obsessive interest in the people, particularly Aboriginal, with their ancient varied legends, rituals and artforms, in the natural history, the geology and meteorology of the area. The result is both chronicle and art worth of a Renaissance Man.' [Dr. C. Jack-Hinton, Director of Museums and Art Galleries of the Northern Territory 1970-2002]. This is also an opportunity to purchase rare, first edition signed 'Frank Hodgkinson's Kakadu and the Arnhemlanders' [1987], containing an original etching signed and numbered by the artist.
