"My role as an artist is to interpret the narratives that deeply move us all as we go about our daily rituals. They manifest as thoughts and feeling that flow through me and that I choose to notice. There is a genuine pensiveness captured on the faces of the characters featured in this new body of work. This exhibition titled ‘The Elephants in the Room’ acknowledges many of the current challenges that humans and the natural world face as a collective as we float precariously on this pale blue dot, the only home we've ever known."
