Well-loved ceramic artist, Fleur Schell, continues the narrative of her family in three dimensions. Whimsical, frequently humourous and tender, Schell tells childhood stories through clay and other materials that capture this time of innocence as experienced by her two children, Heidi and Harry, the protagonists of this new body of work.
Internationally renowned, Schell is known for her ability to capture our imagination through her playful yet highly technical porcelain characters and settings that explore the relationship between porcelain, mixed media, historical objects and childhood narrative themes.
