about this exhibition
PERTH CITY - NOW SHOWING
Inspired by iconic model, Veruschka, who in the 60s and 70s painted herself into rustic walls and naturalistic setting, Hack discovered the wallpaper designs of famed Australian designer Florence Broadhurst and started to explore the notion of camouflage.
Whilst the process of painstakingly camouflaging the human form into the wallpaper designs is exhausting, for both Hack and the model, the end result if nothing short of spectacular.
Hack will create a live installation for the opening of Florence Broadhurst Archive and New Works.
All works are available in a variety of sizes depending upon Image and Edition, please contact gallery for more information on availability.
