2 - 16 APRIL, SUBIACO Love Notes is a focus on mid-career artist Adrian Lockhart and features a limited selection of works on paper and canvas. “Many of my works contain the same elements but it is how I paint them which provides the challenge of painting... from different shapes and colours and shadows I try to create an image of sensual simplicity.” Lockhart works in the media of drawing, print and sculpture. Born in 1947 in Queenstown, Tasmania, he studied art at Launceston Technical College. Collections include: NGA; New England Regional Art Museum; Maitland Regional Art Gallery; The Kedumba Collection; The Chroma Collection and various private and corporate collections in Australia and internationally.
