NOW SHOWING - PERTH CITY
In 1616, Dutch mariner Dirk Hartog became the first European to, unintentionally, land on the West Coast of Australia.
It is the upcoming 400 year anniversary of this chance discovery that has inspired renowned photographic collaborators ‘Ninety Degrees Five’ (ND5) forthcoming exhibition 2016, showing at Linton & Kay Galleries Perth from 9 - 31 December.
ND5 collaborators, Tony Hewitt, Peter Eastway, Les Walkling, Christian Fletcher, and Michael Fletcher have commenced a three-year mission to explore and visually capture the land and sea features of the ancient region.
With the ability to see from above, what was previously unseen becomes apparent. A once featureless landscape belies an infinite array of patterns, textures, colours. Unbelievable compositions from this natural world, only visible to those who seek this godly perspective.
All images are available in limited editions of Small (914 x 927 - 914 x 1168mm) Medium (1118 x 1130 - 1118 x 1420mm) and Large (1499 x 1511 - 1499 x 1920mm)
