Argentinian born ceramist, Viviana Maier, has been working with different techniques learnt from her teachers in Argentina, United States and Australia to create her art.

When she moves to Australia in 2007, with a keen interest in porcelain, she embarked on a remarkable journey, experimenting and pushing the boundaries of this delicate medium.

For Viviana, working with porcelain is a balancing act. Sometimes still, delicate and fragile, establishing a dialogue between light and shadows, others dynamic and connected by a rhythmic composition suggesting movement or serenity interacting in space.
