Emma Lindegaard is a ceramic artist and stylist based in Walyalup/Fremantle, Western Australia. Her work draws heavily on her experiences of being immersed in the Walyalup landscape, creating forms that incorporate negative space, organic curves and tactile surface-finishes. Through communion with these natural elements, Emma’s work seeks to explore emotion as a stored memory/shape in the body. External lived experiences alchemise with the internal, which informs the push and pull that presents in her sculptural forms; between the ostensibly anthropomorphic and the natural/environmental.
